Servants for the Kingdom
In all of our years as homeschoolers & publishers
we've had the pleasure of meeting some extraordinary
Servants for the Kingdom.
In this section we will feature one of those
Servants, not to bring Glory to them but to
encourage us all in our walk. All glory belongs to
Him whom directs our paths.
My path met with our very first Servant for the
Kingdom about 4 years ago.
Meet Tammy Cardwell

Devoted Servant, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Friend,
Author,
Editor, Speaker, AND Publisher
Tammy is a one-of-a-kind person. Our paths first met
online through a mutual friend. Tammy is the editor of
an online magazine called
Eclectic Homeschool
Online (EHO). My friend wrote reviews for this
magazine and had invited me to try my hand at a few
reviews. I'd contacted Tammy and next thing I knew I
was writing reviews!
In doing so, Tammy and I would write back and forth,
engaging in group projects revolving around a hobby
that we'd both enjoyed, and just talking to each
other as if we'd been friends for a long time. It
wasn't long before I'd realized that Tammy wasn't
"just another Christian" she was a Servant of God
whose whole being revolved around Him. What a
delight!
I could go on and on about Tammy Cardwell, but I
think you'd find her writings a breath of fresh air.
Her blog,
From a Cluttered Desk, has WONDERFUL insightful
posts that will challenge your walk with Him.
Among her many adventures is her publishing company
CJ Press.
The "CJ" stands for "Celebrating Jesus". This is
very evident in her character and writings.
Hop on over to her site and revel at the wisdom that
she offers.
If you're looking for a good book to read, try one
of her
e-books. Not only does she create some fabulous
writings of her own, but she delights in
republishing vintage works at most affordable
prices.
Books written long ago have so much more to offer
than those on the New York Times' Best Seller's
list! (in my humble opinion)
Her latest project (and one that I cannot wait to
get my hands on) is Ten American Girls from
History by Kate Dickinson Sweetser, originally
published in 1917. I absolutely love history and
can't wait to delve into the writings.
Another publication is
Some Successful Americans, by Sherman
Williams.
I will be reviewing this title and posting it here
within the next two weeks but in the meantime, you
can read it online.
Take a peek at her
website,
you'll be encouraged, inspired, challenged, AND
educated!

Thanks Tammy for being an inspiration and a friend!
